Until he met Davis and the others about three or four years ago, he hadn't known that there were other digidestined. He'd forgoten that he showed his old friend Jenni his digimon right after they hatched, when they still lived in California. He would often visit his cousin AJ, who still lived in Acamina. He didn't go on many trips with the lost Digidestined, due to being out of state.
